Ok, so this is day 1 for me and just looking for some wisdom on how to keep my worms from wanting to escape the bin. The bin in the photos is just a temporary setup, but will be their home for probably a week.
Ideas off the top of my head
Leave the lid off and just get some more light on them for now to encourage them to dig down?

No worms are visible from the outside. No actual escapees.
Opened up a can of worms..ha
Looks like they were hiding under the lid. Some were actually on the lid. I didn't think to watch any videos specifically on escaping worms before starting...but I'll be watching videos. Just wanted to post this to see if someone had an immediate answer to share.
