since my last post I have set up and planted wheat grass seeds. I have grew a set already which is still in the CFT.
The 4 bins under the the wheatgrass seed are for breeding which I will add to shortly. I'm using mushroom compost for the top layer and leaf mold for bottom. but the mushroom compost was frozen from being outside when I bought it, some pieces need to thaw.
so far worms are better since dad and I put up walls and insulation.
My biggest problem is those fungal flies. I used Neem oil and it didn't do anything. I now use BTI and it seemed to work till I covered the top of the CFT and now they're everywhere again. so I removed it again and started spraying the CFT again. the sticky butterfly's from amazing are working but there's just so many of them.
My feeding process is the wheatgrass, the milled cracked corn, chicken crumble feed and agriculture lime with mixed it used coffee grounds. And thanks to cast Matt I use malaise with water for the on top.
